We have witnessed and believe in the potential of youth from Nickerson Gardens. Together, we are creating ​Bright Futures for Watts​ by equipping the youth with holistic after school programs in science, the arts, education and recreation!

Watts Community Core is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit committed to making a difference in Nickerson Gardens and the surrounding area of Watts. We truly care about our community and offer a number of invaluable resources to youth and families. Our services from food relief to education safe spaces for youth, positively impact the lives of the Watts greater community on a daily basis.

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. For a community to be whole and healthy, it must be based on people’s love and concern for each other.
